Though we’re a new agency based in Atlanta, GA, our mission is lasting: to thoughtfully connect extraordinary families with equally extraordinary nannies, those who bring a natural sense of calm, heart, and presence into the home. Every placement is intentional, built on trust, and made with care.

Founder & Placement DirectorV is a lifelong caregiver with over 10 years of professional experience working as a nanny, newborn care specialist, preschool aide, and more including high-profile families. After running a successful and highly respected nanny agency, she founded The Sterling Nest to create the kind of thoughtful, advocacy-driven agency she was able to provide. Originally from Kansas City and now based in Atlanta, V is known for her warmth, positive energy, and deep commitment to helping families and nannies find their perfect match.
My love for caregiving started at home, as one of 13 siblings, I quickly found myself nurturing little ones and taking pride in helping others thrive. That early foundation shaped the career I’ve carried forward for over a decade. I’ve worked as a preschool aide, summer camp leader, certified Infant Specialist, and private nanny, including for high-profile families. I’ve also had the privilege of supporting teen moms, an experience that deepened my empathy, strengthened my skills, and confirmed what I’ve always known to be true: that children and families flourish when they’re supported with intention and care.
This agency was born out of both passion and purpose: to advocate for nannies, to elevate our profession, and to create a space where both caregivers and families feel seen, heard, and supported. I deeply empathize with the unique needs of families, especially those navigating the fast-paced demands of high-profile lifestyles, and I understand what it takes to create lasting, successful matches.
I set out to build more than just a placement service. I wanted to build a nest. A place of warmth, safety, and stability for both families and caregivers, where every relationship is treated with intention, trust, and deep respect. Because when both sides feel cared for, children thrive, and that’s what it’s all about.
